On August 8th, 2025, we celebrate 8 years of BeFreeBeZen, a wonderful journey filled with ups and downs, transformations, travels, and magical connections.
What better date to mark this anniversary than 8.08, the day one of the most powerful and sacred energetic portals of the year opens: The Lion’s Gate?
What is the Lion’s Gate?
August 8th marks a sacred alignment between the Sun and Sirius, turning the sky into a pure light channel filled with codes and energetic activations.
It’s a day when Sirius energy goes through the Earth’s field and, through frequency, reaches directly into our DNA. It’s a call to awakening, a reminder of our essence, and an inner reconfiguration.
The symbolism of the double 8 is no coincidence, it represents infinity, abundance, cellular reprogramming and carries a powerful frequency of manifestation and expansion.
On this magical day, I feel deeply that BeFreeBeZen has always been and still is more than just a blog: it’s a space for transformation, support and dreaming for me and for you, the ones who walk this path with open hearts.
Travels that inspired BeFreeBeZen
Eight years ago, on a sunny summer day, on August 8th, I launched befreebezen.com, my personal blog „Be Free to Travel. Be Zen”, dedicated to travel and spirituality.
Since then, this blog has become a portal into fascinating worlds and deep life lessons, capturing the hearts of readers from all over the world.
2024 – a year full of joy, inspiration and meetings
- In Spain, on the magical island of Mallorca, I hosted two digital nomad group trips.
We created unforgettable moments together, working in our own rhythm, walking along the beach, watching sunsets, meditating and joined a powerful connection and introspection workshops. We started as strangers and ended as friends.
- England and Netherlands offered urban inspiration, professional connections, and collaborations that encouraged me to grow and bring more meaningful content to you, my community.
In 2025 – The journeys continue
Winter and spring of 2025 found me in Tenerife, a high-vibe island that nourished my soul.
I organized a 10-day retreat in a dreamy location, full of magical energy and deep exploration on an island where the sun always shines.
We also hiked around Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain. Here, true friendships were born, filled with unforgettable moments, a space of deep reset and connection with nature.
For my birthday in May 2025, I went to Thessaloniki, Greece, and visited Meteora and Halkidiki on day trips. It was truly beautiful, and I came home with lots of photos and sublime memories.

All these travels nourished me, challenged me, and brought me closer to the essence of BeFreeBeZen: freedom, presence, simplicity, and community.
